Education in Horsemanship with Safety First Approach
Specializing in Novice, Timid or "Rusty" Riders

Western - English - Adults - Children

The Joni Fitts School of Horsemanship is the only nationally accredited riding school in Arizona through the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA). Located in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona, the school offers riding lessons to the public through its facility at Sandspur, nestled in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains, just off Loop 101 at Cactus and 93rd Streets.

JFSH instructors are Nationally Certified through the American Riding Instructor Certification Program (ARICP). The JFSH lesson program is specifically designed to accomodate everyone from 6 years and up through adults, specializing in the novice, timid, or "rusty rider." The school offers classes in both English and Western riding and uses a variety of horses offering riders exposure to many different equine breeds for a well rounded horsemanship education.

Be sure to read "Heads Up, Heels Down;" Joni's column in the Arizona Horse Connection magazine.
